Objectives

Objectives and activities are designed to support the development of a skilled workforce capable of driving the digital and green transitions in Europe, ensuring that the benefits of advanced 5G technologies are broadly shared and contribute to sustainable development

Digital Skills

The project will develop courses related to advanced 5G technologies, IoT, Industry 4.0, and AI. These digital skills are essential for professionals to thrive in the rapidly evolving technology landscape, where digital transformation is driving innovation across industries

Green Skills

The project highlights sustainability and environmental awareness in advanced 5G technologies, offering courses on energy efficiency, sustainable business planning, and green marketing.

Resilient Skills

The project develops resilient skills like adaptability, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship to help professionals thrive in the dynamic digital economy and address emerging challenges. Through an accelerator program and entrepreneurship courses, it fosters an entrepreneurial mindset and supports student-led startups in advanced 5G and green technology sectors.

Our Objectives

01.

Fostering new, innovative, and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning

The project develops a comprehensive, multidisciplinary curriculum in advanced 5G technologies and green skills for higher education (HE) and vocational education and training (VET) institutions. This innovative curriculum incorporates problem-solving scenarios, case studies, simulations, and hands-on activities to provide students with a well-rounded learning experience.

02.

Stimulating a sense of initiative and entrepreneurial attitudes, mindsets, and skills

The project incorporates green entrepreneurship courses, engaging industry experts and successful entrepreneurs as guest speakers and instructors. This approach fosters entrepreneurial mindsets in line with the Entrepreneurship Competence Framework (EntreComp), encouraging innovation and initiative.

03.

Fostering the setting up of incubators within education and training institutions across Europe

The project implements a transnational accelerator program within educational institutions, supporting a cohort of 25 student-led startups in advanced 5G and green technology sectors. This initiative fosters the creation of incubators within educational institutions and promotes a startup culture among students.

04.

Fostering corporate social responsibility

The project integrates sustainability into its curriculum and programs, with dedicated courses on energy efficiency and sustainability in advanced 5G technologies. Additionally, the project supports the development of green skills and sustainable practices through the Green IoT and Digital Manufacturing Programs, addressing environmental protection and sustainable development objectives.

05.

Supporting skills development in deep tech domains

The project offers continuous education programs targeting deep tech domains, including Sustainable 5G, Green IoT, Digital Manufacturing, and Native AI. By collaborating with industry partners, educators, and instructional designers, the project addresses the unique skills and knowledge requirements for each domain, contributing to closing the skills gap.

06.

Improving the quality and relevance of skills developed and certified through education and training systems

By conducting a needs assessment and identifying skills requirements for beyond 5G digital and green industrial technologies, the project ensures that the joint curriculum and continuous education programs address the skills mismatch and remain relevant to industry demands

07.

Facilitating the flow and co-creation of knowledge between stakeholders

The project organizes cross-sectoral networking events and creates an online knowledge-sharing platform to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions, vocational education and training providers, research institutions, and industry partners, promoting knowledge exchange, co-creation, and collaboration opportunities.

08.

Building and supporting effective and efficient higher education and vocational education and training systems

The 5G-DiGITs Alliance project contributes to the establishment of connected and inclusive higher education and vocational education and training systems that promote innovation and address the needs of the labor market through joint curriculum development, continuous education programs, and accelerator programs
