In February 2026, the 5G-DiGITs project reached a major milestone by successfully hosting two rounds of interactive online Industry Feedback Sessions: Event 3.1 (February 2–5) and Event 3.2 (February 16–19).
Led by the project consortium, these working sessions provided professionals, companies, and educators with exclusive early access to the draft European MOOCs developed under Work Package 3 (WP3). The goal was to co-create Europe’s next generation of digital training programs through direct industry validation.
Over the course of the two events, experts from across Europe gathered to analyze and evaluate the training content across four critical pillars: Sustainable 5G, Green IoT, Digital Manufacturing, and Native AI. Unlike standard webinars, these sessions were designed as open discussion platforms. Participants provided invaluable, hands-on feedback, ensuring that the future courses reflect real-world market needs, the latest technological trends, and pressing sustainability challenges.
Next Steps: With the industrial validation phase now complete, the 5G-DiGITs consortium is actively integrating the insights and suggestions gathered during both events. This collaborative effort guarantees that the final MOOCs will deliver high-quality, relevant, and practical skills to the European workforce.
