5G-DiGITs consortium to hold its next meeting in Malta to advance 5G-driven education and innovation

From 21 to 23 October 2025, partners of the 5G-DiGITs project will meet in Malta for a new working session combining study visits, a consortium meeting, and participation in the Malta Startup Festival

Friday, 17th October 2025. The European project 5G-DiGITs, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, will bring together its consortium partners in Valletta and Montekristo Estate (Malta) from 21 to 23 October 2025. The three-day event will include study visits, a consortium meeting, and active participation in the Malta Startup Festival, where the project will host a booth to showcase its progress and connect with innovators, educators, and industry stakeholders.

The agenda includes visits to GO Mobile and the University of Malta, where participants will explore how cutting-edge 5G infrastructure supports education, research, and business innovation. The consortium meeting will focus on the progress of work packages, future deliverables, and upcoming training activities. Meanwhile, the project’s participation in the Malta Startup Festival will provide an opportunity to share insights on how 5G technologies can empower digital skills, entrepreneurship, and cross-sector collaboration.
